Brittany Murphy is planning to turn her back on acting to become a pop star. The sexy actress provides guest vocals on the track 'Faster Pussycat' on British DJ Paul Oakenfold's new album and now friends say she wants to record an LP of her own.

According to America's New York Post newspaper, Brittany has even hired her ex-fiancé, music agent Jeff Kwatinetz, to mastermind her pop career.
